Motivation gets you started, habit keeps you going

[first posting using Windows Live Writer, thx to Ume]

I think it's time for me to give a write about my fitness place since I've been visited 4 clubs of their 7 clubs in Jakarta. I joined Fitness First almost 2 months ago, together with my office-soulmate (dia excited banget mau fitness, lebih dari gw, karena tahun ini dia akan menghadapi resepsi-resepsi perkawinan penting (abang dan sodara sepupunya, jadi harus bisa tampil menawan di hari-hari itu... ajang nyari jodoh juga kan bo ahahaha).

We started with visiting FF in Pacific Place, the closest one to our office (walking distance). Obviously there are 2 type of FF clubs, the usual clubs and the platinum ones. FF clubs are in Oakwood, Cibubur Junction, Taman Anggrek and Plaza Semanggi. While FF platinum clubs are in Senayan City, Pacific Place and Grand Indonesia. There are also 2 kind memberships, the basic (erggh actually I forgot the name) and the passport. Passport member can access all FF clubs, including the platinum clubs, and I think it's so suitable for an easy-bored person like me :D.

I went there on 8pm.. ohh shit, baguuusss bangeeeet... it's remang-remang you know ahahaha very quiet and romantic.

Sabtu kemarin ini gw baru aja nyoba fitness disana (tapi ga sempet berenang) sambilan bokap and adek gw nyari-nyari buku pelajaran di Pesta Buku Gramedia (discount up to 50%, +10% for BCA credit card holders, only at Gramedia GI ampe 31 july 2008 *malah promo* tapi ga nemu juga bo buku-buku adek gw, jadi akhinya tetep ke Gramedia Matraman, diskon 15% buat semua buku pelajaran *masiiih pomo ehehe*). Tuhh gitu tuh enaknya ambil passport membership, ga hanya maen di satu tempat aja.

Hem hem masalah harga, sekarang berkisar antara 400-500ribu per bulan, tergantung kepintaran anda dalam tawar-menawar. Yep, I kid you not, meski tempat berkelas kayak gini tapi harga bisa nawar bo ehehehe. Tapi kayanya sih worth it banget, tujuan lo fitness jadi tercapai, karena dikontrol terus sama PT nya.

Ohh and... the people are soooo friendly! Help desk nya, PT nya, yang bersih2, towel boy nya... semua dehh, ramah banget dan ga pandang bulu.

'Lumayan mahal ya bo buat olahraga, mending lari-lari pagi sendiri di kompleks rumah' uehehe tapi justru karena mahal itu jadi rugi untuk ga olahraga sesering mungkin *ga mao rugiiiii ahaha* Dan kalo dah sering gtu ya, sekali berhenti langsung merasa gak enak 'duuh pengen olahraga' ceilaaah ahaha akhirnya gw yang dulu benci banget sama olahraga ini bisa juga merasakan addict to sport and enjoy it. Meskipun perut belum mengempis juga ya bo, but feeling healthy lah.

Jeju Island in 3 Days

Jeju Island, the Hawaii of Korea, where couples usually go for honeymoon, and the place of many UNESCO Nature Heritage sites, is really beautiful and romantic. Some people say we need to spend at least 1 week to explore and experience the most of this island, but in my opinion 3 days are enough. Trust me, many places in Jeju only look good in advertisement, they're good at selling it. There are no interesting places in the North and West part of Jeju Island, so you can focus on East and South. East and South parts are amazingly naturally beautiful! Here's the itinerary I recommend.

Day-1: East of Jeju Island

Manjanggul / Manjang Cave
Spending time: 30-45 minutes
Hallasan, located in the middle of Jeju Island is the only volcanic mountain in Korea. It created several small volcanic mountains throughout Jeju Island, called Oreum in Korean. One of the biggest Oreum is Geomun Oreum, famous with its large lava tube system and designated as a UNESCO Natural Heritage site. It has few l…

Review: Homestay Cahaya Sikunir Dieng

Transportation in Jeju Island

These are some remarks regarding public transportation in Jeju.
Buses in Jeju Island accept Seoul's t-money card. You can buy and top-up it in convenience store, like GS25 and Family Mart.City buses normally charge 1000won for cash, or 950won for t-money card. If you pay by card, tap it to the machine when you aboard and when you alight. If you transit between 2 buses during a certain times, fee for the next bus can be 0won, or free.Intercity buses vary depends on the distance, usually between 1000-3000won. There's no different fee paying with cash or card. When you aboard the bus, tell the driver about your destination, he will tell you how much it is, and you have to pay there directly. If you pay by card, no need to tap it again when you get off. There are 2 bus terminals in Seogwipo city. The main bus terminal is in the south-east of downtown, near the Jeongbang Waterfall, which is also the old one. The second one is to the right of the E-mart in front of the World Cup Stad…
